A trauma healing retreat in the UK countryside
A weekend of structured group healing with time to rest and reflect, in the peaceful Herefordshire countryside.
Book a discovery callHow the retreat works
The retreat runs from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Across the weekend, you'll take part in 8 guided group healing sessions, each lasting around 45–50 minutes.
The sessions follow a clear structure, but the weekend isn't about rushing from one thing to the next. There's time between sessions to rest, reflect, ground yourself, and let things settle.
The final healing session allows extra time for grounding and integration before you leave and return to everyday life.

Your weekend, hour by hour
Friday Arrival & first healing
You'll arrive between 3pm and 4pm, giving you time to settle in, have some refreshments, and explore the grounds. We come together at 5pm to introduce the weekend, answer questions, and create a safe, confidential space for the group.
The first healing begins at 5.30pm, followed by optional sharing. After dinner, the evening is yours, to get to know the group or simply rest.
Saturday Four group healing sessions
Saturday begins with breakfast before we come together as a group. You'll take part in four guided healing sessions through the day, alongside energetic exercises, breaks, meals, and time to rest.
There's also free time in the afternoon and evening to relax or explore the local area.
Sunday Integration & grounding
After breakfast, we come together for the final two healing sessions. The final healing focuses on integration and grounding, giving you time to settle before returning to everyday life.
We finish with final reflections and optional sharing before departure at around 3pm. All times are approximate and may shift with how the weekend unfolds.
What happens during a group healing session
The healing sessions work with the body's seven main energy centres, or chakras, moving through the sequence across the weekend. Each session lasts around 45–50 minutes.
You don't need to actively do anything. You can simply get comfortable and allow yourself to experience the session in whatever way feels natural. People experience healing differently: you might feel deeply relaxed, notice warmth or cold, see colours, or experience a sense of release.
After each healing, there's an opportunity to share what you've experienced if you'd like to. You can also choose to listen or simply be present. The sessions are guided intuitively, so the structure gives the weekend consistency while each session reaches its natural close.

The venue: Poulstone Court
Set in the peaceful Wye Valley countryside, Poulstone Court is a Victorian country house surrounded by gardens, old trees, and open views across the Herefordshire landscape.
It's a place that has hosted retreats for more than 25 years, with space to step away from everyday life, slow down, and focus on yourself. You'll stay for the full weekend, with accommodation, meals, and refreshments included.
The aim is simple: to give you the space to put everything else down for a while and be fully present with yourself.
Words cannot convey the power of these group sessions or the connections that were formed. I'd highly recommend working with Julie if you get the opportunity.

From people who've been on retreat
The impact it had on others within the group was equally noticeable. I'd highly recommend Julie and her approach.
A truly wonderful and gifted lady who I feel so lucky to have found. The workshop this weekend was truly life changing.
The Welsh countryside was an ideal setting for this intense, beautifully healing work. I'm so glad I took the leap.
